OP-Z manual save mode

Hello. I don’t like auto-saving, so I press the P+T buttons to switch to manual mode. However, even after setting it up once, it always goes back to autosave mode every time I turn it on, so I have to set it again. Is there a way to permanently switch it to manual mode?

Put it in disk mode, connect to computer, phone, tablet, open the config json and edit

Yes, exactry.

That would be useful if I could do that, could you tell me the code?

AFAIK there is no setting for this

Not exactly the same, but the OP-Z will start in manual save mode if you hold the Project button while booting.

There is no config.json.
We have a general.json, which doesn’t contain an option to disable autosave, unfortunately.
Here is mine’s content:

{
“backlit_keys” : false,
“disable_headphone_db_reduction” : false,
“disable_microphone_mode” : false,
“disable_param_page_reset” : true,
“disable_start_sound” : true,
“disable_track_preview” : true,
“generous_chords” : true,
“latch_notes_with_shift” : false,
“legacy_input_select” : false,
“temp_param_add_fx_a” : true
}

Thank you everyone.

And the next time I start it without P button it will stat in Auto save mode again?

YES. This is an alternate switching setting. If you forget that you are in manual mode and then try again, it will revert to auto mode, which is an inconvenient setting.
