Op-z + op-1 field = perfect BUT (MIDI over BTE vs usb c) & Tempo clock control

So wired MIDI over USB C works great - EXCEPT it freezes and crashes my op-1f a lot for some reason

Midi BTE sequencing and works transport but the clock isn’t sent. - only start stop

As long as there is not tempo changes in the song it doesn’t matter but there sometimes is in my song

Now when controlled by external clock (red midi sync) the op-z controls the clock …but when I reverse it, the op1f clock doesn’t seem to affect the temp of of the op-z

Why does it seem the opz becomes the master ? Is it because it’s sequencer is more powerful or because of the recording setting (ochre beat sync vs external red sync )

James makes a great point/ latency may be why, but the thing is BTE is low latency so I was wondering if anyone had their clock on the op1 affect tempo on the opz OR when the opz send its clock does the tempo or tape speed change on your op1f

By the way what is the time stamp for? On the second setting screen ?

Ok so timestamp is for external gear
The op1f does midi over usb and BTE
In what context does the timestamp prove useful? And with what gear?

Does it have anything to do with the op-z?
