OP-Z Transpose Samples, Maintain tempo/bpm

Hey guys, been looking up online and have yet to find an answer on this.

With the OP-1, if you record a sample and then transpose the clip… or play it up and down the keyboard. it speeds up or slows down, because pitch is changing etc… its super annoying when trying to maintain the tempo and using the same sample.

i was looking into the OP-Z as an added sequencer, and i was wondering if it has the same behavior when playing back samples or if it tempo/bpm locks the sample ( similar to abletons beat matching tech.)

so playing lower or higher, but the speed is unchanged?. if so im gonna snag one asap, cus atm i generally bounce the samples to ableton if i want to pitch up and down and maintain a consistent speed.

Yeh, my samples play consistently and chromatically. If you like the stretch flavor, you can fetch that also.

So you mean, it can preserve the time on samples?. or not depending on your choosing?
