New firmware indicates that a USB Audio source can be explicitly selected: OP-Z guide: input selection
I’m just wondering if anyone can clarify what a USB Audio Source is.
I can confirm that this USB-C mic didn’t work, so maybe I’m a bit confused as to what should be working.
the Z is a USB MIDI HOST but unfortunatley NOT a USB AUDIO HOST
the device needs to be a USB AUDIO HOST
in order for the Z to recognize it and be recognized by it
without the host the devices dont know how to communicate with each other
so even tho it would be super sweet to just plug any USB AUDIO device into it and go
its gotta be something that is a host like a laptop or smartphone or tablet
