OP1 and Irig Midi 2?

Hello all!


I have an Irig Midi 2, which works great to add Midi in, out, and through to the Ipad. I’m wondering if anyone has used the Irig device to do the same for the OP1? They make a cable that would make the physical connection possible, but I can’t seem to find anything on whether or not it would actually work. I’d really like to get the OP1 talking to the Octatrack and the Irig is ideal for me in many ways if it actually works this way. Has anyone tried this? Do I just need to suck it up and buy a proper Midi USB interface?

Thanks! I had read through that but I guess it took a second time to get it through my skull. Looks like I’m going to need a new box. I appreciate the help : )
