Hates me to say it guys, I love this community. But what is happening to this Operator One site?
Every time I come here it’s full of spam and Viagra adverts! I’m not adverse to the little blue pill but hey, I don’t want to come here and talk about it!
And why is almost every post about OPZ? I personally couldn’t care less about it as an OP1 owner. There are OPZ websites that exist for enthusiasts.
I guess my question is, who is moderating this website!? As it seems abandoned
I banned the Viagra user. I’m not really a moderator but have the permissions to clean those up, so I do what I can when I stop by.
You can filter out all the op-z posts and only see op-1 posts by clicking on the op-1 category on the left. I kinda miss the days when the form was only op-1 talk. That’s in the past, TE has released a bunch of new products, the forum has changed hands and domains when the original admin got board and left. The forum kinda evolved into a teenage engineering forum instead of just an op-1 forum.
The op-z is the new thing with all the hype. It can do cool things to an op-1 like sync tape start-stop with other gear. I see new content posted here regularly. I have seen some talk about a major software update for the site, but I can’t find the thread to link to, sorry.
We are migrating this forum to a new platform where there will be dedicated areas for OP-Z and OP-1.

Also, feel free to ping me if you see any spam or adverts on the site. I’d be happy to clean them up.
click “OP1” in the side bar menu, then you only see OP1 posts.
if anyone is not happy with the moderating on the site, then volunteer to be a moderator. i’m sure the admin would welcome any help they can get.
I’m not complaining guys, this is an awesome resource. But for someone not interested in OPZ it’s a little overwhelming. My iPhone doesn’t let you choose the OP1 category @squiddly
Once we get Discourse it’ll be easy to filter only the categories you’re interested in. I’d like to filter out the OP-Z stuff too, since I’m not planning to get one anytime soon.

On the iphone if you bookmark this url you’ll end up on the OP-1-only posts: https://www.operator-1.com/index.php?p=/categories/op-1
On the mobile android or iOS - if you click a thread dedicated to op-1, click down, beneath the title next to date and most recent name there is a category for each thread. By clicking the op-1 category on a thread it will set it for your filter 
I do feel it though, me too not invited (jus yet) to the Z party.
