.OPZ file type woes

I was really hoping the op-z would allow us to explore / export midi files for use in our DAW of choice. Something like:

USB Device E: | Projects | Tracks | Kick.Midi

Unfortunately this is not the case, and all project information is stored in a .opz file type. Would anyone be interested in helping out with the development of an .opz > .midi conversion app?

I’m just getting my feet wet when it comes to reverse engineering firmware, so it will be a really slow process for me, so any input would be extremely valuable

could u record the midi straight out of the box into your DAW?

Yeah. My current work around involves 8 midi tracks grouped in Ableton.

Its just a pain to manage scenes and parameter automations…
