P0-32 Screen Smashed - ok to remove?

Dropped my PO-32 and smashed the screen. Everything still works ok (except the screen of course) but wee bits of jaggy glass everywhere.

Does anyone know if I can remove the screen - I’m reasonably handy with a soldering iron but would be good to know if someone else had tried it and it still worked? cheers, Paul

I didn’t do that before, but you should be ok since the LCD is just a passive device.

Good to know! If you have some isopropyl alcohol, I think you can remove most of that gunk with a cotton swab (I did that when I removed the display from my Factory). Just be sure to let it dry afterwords before turning it on.
