PO-12 (and others) step multiplier: uneven bars?

Hi,

I literally just got my po-12, but i have watched a lot of tutorials on YouTube on this device.

One feature i don’t understand yet is the retrigger (step multiplier). Is it possible with this function to make e.g. 5/4 beats? Obviously mathematically this can be done over many patterns as well, but i want to figure this out. Thanks for help to this newbie!

The step multiplier doesn’t change the overall sequence timing. It just puts multiple evenly-spaced triggers on that one step (e.g. one click makes it two 32nd notes, two clicks a 32nd note triplet, and so on)
