A while ago, I was looking for a drum computer that could handle some harsher sounds. My plan was to use it in my rehearsal room, just for fun, and loop myself to the beat. Out of all the drum machines I listened to, I liked the sound of the PO-12 the most — so I ordered one.
When it arrived, I just wanted to do a quick test… but 24 hours later, I had a complete song written — something I hadn’t done that fast in a long time. That moment of inspiration led me to create a full EP using just this drum machine.

I know most of you on this forum are into completely different styles of music — and this might not be your thing at all — but since this is a place for gear heads, maybe it’s interesting to hear how this tiny machine holds up in a very different context. All drums and percussion were made with the PO-12 alone.
