The POM-16 is currently on sale direct for $59!
Bargain? I think so, and bought one. Looking forward to having a play. I’m guessing they’re running them out.
Does your require hard push/press to activate functions/keys ?
In the videos I’ve seen, it’s resistive membrane type interface by the looks and you have to PRESS, not tap. It’s like an old touch screen, not a new touch screen.
Mine is still boxed and I haven’t opened it… I might, but the B2600 has some crazy high voltages in places (like up to 24V!) beyond euro rack standard so I don’t know how useful it will be. I also got a Squarp Pyramid, may just end up using that instead.
Sorry I can’t be more help.
Yes its very much a hard pusher.
I’ve just built mine ,so not used it in action yet.
I’ve got a problem, i can only power it with batteries, not with a 9-12v power supply.
Has anyone managed to power theirs via a wall wart?
Since I had the PO400, I obtained from TE a couple years back one of the internal module cables, just like the one from the 400 to the battery holder. Using that, you can have a power supply going from the 400 out the case into the 16. Using the 400 power supply, I can confirm it works that way.
I got the TE power supply after failing to get any other power supply I had around to work with it. Now I’m battery free, and I just leave it on all the time.
Hey this us awesome news - thank you very much! Perfect.
Thanks for the reply, i must of missed this one and only just seen it.
How are people finding this little red box of joy?
I haven’t connected mine up yet but hope to soon.
I like my POM-400. It adds a certain je ne sais quoi when all the other digital synths are feeling a bit too clinical. While powerful and versatile, I can’t say I love the POM-16 sequencer. I don’t like having to keep the steps in my head. I don’t like having no direct access to each step with a button or knob. It accepts note and gate CV from my MicroFreak, so it often serves as extra ‘sonic seasoning’ for that.
Nice, things to look out for when i do power on.
Sounds frustratingly like a TB303
