Would anyone happen to know which voltage regulator is on the power supply for the POM400? Mine seems to have blown and I would like to get a replacement, but I can’t figure out which IC they’re using.
Thanks in advance!
Hey does anyone know the answer to this?
Has anyone powered a POM via a third party powersupply wall wart?
I’ve tried every conceivably connection i own, on my new POM-16 and nothing works, save batteries.
The website recommends the official £17 plug and maybe thats the only answer?
I ended up getting the original one. Many small things contributed - it’s a smaller barrel diameter, a slightly weird voltage and opposite tip polarity compared to what I had lying around. If you make your own, consider getting a 90-degree plug.
Slightly infuriatingly, on my POM-170, that TE.adapter plug sticking straight up out of the battery holder was smashing into the backs of the modules when I tried to close the case again. So I couldn’t use the rubber bands to secure the battery holder. Instead, I picked the place with the best clearance versus the rest of the innards and then employed a little bit of double-sided tape to keep it in position.
Hey thanks for the reply @angusofstockholm , this gives me some confidence in the little pom-16 sequencer. Unscrewing case and removing 17 knobs was seemingly a pain to change batteries.
