Got an email about the MIDI Sprout. A little surprised. 800 on the waiting list and 60 units to sell when they finally do a preorder. Not feeling super enthused I will get one which makes it all the more bitter because I simply forgot about the Kickstarter campaign

You are going to have so much fun! An electronic machine that doesn’t sleep, is always there when you turn it on, doesn’t suffer from any emotional stresses that life throws at it like a band member, it’s killer!!! Please share your happenings, big or small, I just want to hear it/them.

Congrats! It’s a very cool box. You know, one of those where you just realize after a while that “wow, I’m probably not going to have time anytime soon to do everything I can with this thing”. It’s been three years for me, and I still have a mental backlog of stuff to try out.

My advices :
- be patient
- read the manual
- read Merlin’s thought on OT
- try every separate part, one by one (e.g. sampling, midi control, scenes, Parts, etc.)
- re-read the manual

Mate you’re gonna love it. Got mine last year. First time I ever spent over £400 on an instrument. Such a deep box of tricks. Every time I turn it on I end up with a new idea sketched out. Enjoy!
