Bought a Roland SYR-E84 along with Mutable Instruments Grids, Peaks, Braids, Clouds and Links.

@154 yeah I miss my 2000xl.
Got rid for the 4000 which I hated so much it killed my output for roughly seven years.
Got the 1000, nothing, too used to the pads being on the right…
I know I could have got another xl but it hurt bad and I never really recovered until the OT and OP-1 landed.
Not including acid that is!

The Octatrack sequencer is seeing less use nowadays, and I have some overlap in my gear… So I think I’m going to think about letting it go, as you’ve possibly noticed. Will have to see what I end up with and what will be my sample options.
One viable option is to use the OP-1 as a sample player. Just run tape loops along with the rest of my gear…
I recently picked up a volca sample and a PO-20, first of both series for me. Lots of fun and super easy to sync together. I think i’m subconsciously gearing up on couch-synths for when my baby is born

My brain is playing OT tricks on me
I was at a bit bored this morning and ended up reading up a bit more on Modular synths. Somehow i ended up buying a Black and Gold make Noise shared system.
Feeling a bit excited (and poor) though it won't be with me for a few weeks, hopefully before I go off on holidays.
Now I just have to work out how to fit it into my youtube channel kiddies videos :)
