Hi,
I am able to use MIDI sync to start/stop the EP-133 but I can’t figure out how to prevent note data from also playing the pads at the same time.
I’ve looked at the MIDI settings for each sound and turned these off but that made no difference.
Am I missing something obvious here?

unfortuantely MIDI in is always monitoring all channels, there is no way to prevent this at the moment.
maybe a retrokits device could be helpful in between? im pretty midi illiterate so im not really sure if they offer a solution to this kind of problem
What device is sending midi and clock to the 133?
Hi. Thanks for the replies. I managed to resolve this now after getting an iConnectivity mio XL into my larger setup.
With this I was able to filter out MIDI note data so that only the clock was received by the EP-133.
