Recommend me a budget or not-so-budget (if it's too amazing to miss) reverb/delay FX unit/s

Strymon Strymon Strymon!

The Strymon Big Sky is pure magic. Indeed, one of the most expensive stomp-box format reverb units out there but is well worth the price. I use it permanently on the Mopho x4, it kinda transforms that out-of-the box awesome synth into an even more fantastic instrument. I've had the Big Sky for almost a year but noticed only today that I'd had the cab simulator switch on the back of the pedal in the 'on' position which probably makes the sound of guitars dirtier and more analogue, so to speak, but, as it turned out today, is less a pleasing effect on synths. Without the cab sim the Big Sky simply sings like an angel. Not your to-go lofi reverb, but if you seek a permanent and (in an good way) general reverb solution, the Big Sky must not be overlooked. Though I'm sure I'd fall in love with the Eventide Space as well. As for a cheaper yet amazing pedal, I've been eyeing for some time the Old Noise Endevours Procession reverb. It comes new at around USD 200 and judged by the demos it sounds über-cool. The official Old Noise demos up on Youtube are also not to missed, especially the 'technical demo' which is fortunately not that technical at all.

I’ll 2nd the Kaoss pad mini and mini 2.Great loopers and all sorts.Reverb with LPF in performance based xy interface.Cheap and way better than Behringer virtualizer pro imho.

Lexicon …Reflex is what I have.never bored of that reverb.I payed £75.Any model in that range.

+1 for the Kaoss Pad Mini 2. Actually you’d probably want two of those (at least I do, having only one at the moment) since it’ll only do one effect at a time. You can use your OP-1 master effect too (e.g. Delay on OP-1, LPF on KP) but I find an additional interface to be more flexible. Two KP2mini’s are a bit pricey though and you gotta keep stocked on fresh batteries as well if you want to go completely off the grid.

For my decks @crudeoperator ,I use power supplies. But deffo agreed on more than one (i use two by two KP3s and minis V1s, in parallel + series config. So two busses of double KPness .With lexicon and Boss SX700 at the ends.Very nice).
Having said that one pad does give two effects at once (x+y) like LPF into reverb is nice ,or flange looper ,HPF grain or LPF + slicer. As a basic reverb - not the best but usable, with gains as multi use and UI.

Mini V1s can take 4 AA batteries which is much better.KP2 mini has SD to record to …but only if full battery power, which is like 10 mins lol

What about a USB adaptor and battery pack for the KP minis?

Yes that’s a good idea.
It’s 4.5V, haven’t tried but deffo worth investigating. Thanks @ghostly606 .
Need to find or make a cable.
