Because apparently videomicro - a microphone for cameras, which need power drawn from the camera… does not work with the OP-1. An example of a bad purchase after not reading enough… I just wanted a better, simple external microphone that I could use to record sounds.
But yeah, would anyone know any workaround that I could try to make this work?
That’s because that mic asks for “plug-in power” and op-1 does not supply power through the audio jack.
You’d have to buy a phantom power supply but it’s really not worth it.
