question about synth sampling. I make a sample (with mic or whatever). Let’s say the sample is 5 seconds long. of course it puts the pull sample on each key with a different pitch on each one. My question is this: is there a way to make it so that it is still the same LENGTH (of seconds) on each key, just with the different pitches? In other words, the same SPEED.

No, but there is a timestretch trick with an lfo that could restore length. YouTube has a video demonstrating, something like “timestretching on the OP-1”. It won’t apply a different timestretch value across all the keys though, so it would only be practical for one altered pitch key. I don’t think that’s what you’re going for but it’s worth mentioning.
