Send Midi Data to OP1

I’ve tried with Cubase and Ableton, without success. Maybe someone here can help me?


I’ve connected the OP1 to my mac using the USB cable and recorded a melody using the OP1 as a Midi Controller. Now I would like the midi from Cubase/Ableton to play the sounds on the OP1 - but it just doesn’t seem to work. I can use the midi data to play VSTs in the DAW, but not the synths on the OP1. Am I missing something or is Midi In not supported on the OP1?

Oh my, never mind, I did it! I need to assign “external instrument” as the tracks instrument in ableton to get it to work. Now on to getting this thing working with Cubase (which I prefer, actually;)
