I’m curious if there’s some kind of logic to the slicing, I’ve been finding that I can slice things sometimes, holding down the key and waiting for those options to pop up, but sometimes it just doesn’t go, I’ll turn the unit on and off and maybe it will start working again… It seems pretty random but maybe there’s some logic to it that I haven’t discovered… anyone else find this?
Are you in the drum sampler? I sometimes make the mistake of forgetting I’m just in the sampler (which won’t slice).
Really appreciate the thought, but no, I’m definitely in the drum sampler. It absolutely will work most of the time if I shut the machine off and then turn it back on, we usually work twice before it starts malfunctioning, or like maybe it malfunctions on a specific track… If no one else has this, maybe it’s just my unit but perhaps it’s time for a support ticket!
