SOME HAVE PERISHED - TRACK

Hello all,

This is my first op-1 track. I had not heard many experimental tracks done with op-1… been slowly diving into it, not great at the tape function… multi-tracked in Reaper. My dad is going to die, drank some beer and some gin, wrote a track… “IT” will happen to everyone, void, hyperspace, light, light, light. Still needs some editing, I took out the bassline… probably put in a new one more minimal, vocals chants etc. I’m down for using op-1 as a major component in recording and making music… all gear are “toys”… OP-1 is a great one. Hope you enjoy.

Sick.

I am really impressed, I have to admit I actually like this sound.

wow this is cool as fuck. it should be in a movie or a video game!

Excellent.Inspiring.Was all the sounds from OP-1?

It made my head fizz, thanks

Really excellent. I especially love that infinitely descending belt-grinder sound.

Thanks for the positive vibes, op-1 brothers!

Yes, this track was all done in OP-1… I cheated though, as I mentioned, I multi-tracked separate pieces into Reaper but it’s 100% from OP-1.

I was just rocking the OP-1 on the plane today and created a track start to finish using the OP-1 - was much fun, battery life is amazing.

Peace!
Sean

This one was the one I made on the plane. First time trying to complete a track completely on OP-1 (without multi-tracking solo tracks).
I started to begin to understand why people say after you learn the workflow, you begin playing outside of your framework.

I usually try my hand at experimental, minimal, noise, jazz sort of stylings using traditional instruments, but I just embraced simple, bass driven, repetitive electronic music on this one that the OP-1 seemed to be guiding/suggesting me to do; I’m not great with mixing down but this one can be played loud & stoned.

Put up a new track Rain Drop Daime (ayahuasca), this one is a bit more minimal in the busy sort of way that La Monte Young’s “A Well Tuned Piano” was, albeit not complex, just using the shape sequencer (bouncing balls) thingy magig.

New track: BASKETBALLS FROM HYPERSPACE, a little noisy, droney and then a little psychedelic hip hoppy, Like a spice portal to a strange speaking creature, "did you see the dome?"
