Step Length Playback Issues

I apologize if this issue has been covered in a different thread.

When I increase the Step length of a track to anything higher than 4 I start having playback problems.

I will live record to the sequencer over lets say 8 bars ( track+shift+8)

When I playback the sequence notes are being triggered that I did not record, and this only happens if the tracks step length is set above 4bars

At first I thought it might be due to a voice count issue or quantize setting but I cannot figure out why it is happening.

I have multiple OP-Z units and the same thing is happening on both.

Any thoughts or suggestions are much appreciated…

I had the oplabZ brick fail and the only way to fix it was factory reset.
don’t know if that will help but trying that always resets any problems mine has.
its happened on three occasions. once with the brick, once with just being buggy, and last
with trigger problems.

Could be a quantising issue? Did you try turning it down to see if your tracks better resemble what you played?

The notes being triggered are completely different from what I played when step length is set to 8bars… When I shorten the Step length to 4bars my performance is right on when I play back.

I may just try the factory reset… Thanks for the input.

Factory reset did not fix problem… I am pretty sure this started happening after the 1.1.27 upgrade…

This is happening on both of the OP-Zs I own.
