Me too!I don't care for "dealers" and "reps" though. Rather go direct.
Just the two year warranty Sweetwater offers makes it worth buying from them.

after seeing what happened with the first batch of pos and ordering from te direct. how that took months of people sharing order numbers/guesstimating roughly which shipment of theirs they’d hope to get in on. i’d rather order through a dealer that has experience dealing in high volume. might give them a ring. it is easily my most anticipated purchase for the forseeable future
Sweetwater has a page for the OP-Z up now.
Hmm… looks like I’ll be spending again…the OP-Z is a “want & need” situation for me and this surprises me, because initially I thought I wouldn’t want it, but the preview’s and Cuckoo’s in-depth sneak-peek video are quite convincing.
Oh, didn’t know about the Sweetwater 2 year warranty!
If you look at the photo on the sweetwater page there are four yellow ports on the top of the opz but on the teenage engineering site those four yellow ports aren’t there. What were people thinking those are?
Maybe cv & gates?

Looks like both pictures are vector drawings, not photos. Could be that those were initially designed to be flush with the back instead of protruding (assuming the TE image is older than the Sweetwater image).
That was always surrounded by mistery, TE never admitted that such outputs exist and the OP-Z page does not list them under “Connectors”… go figure.
Just found this video https://youtu.be/OLrpNva74Us
At about 6:02 the guy from TE flipped the opz on its side and shows off the back you can see the buttons and also about 4 holes that look like jacks I think. I’m sure that’s what we are seeing in photo, perhaps the sweetwater picture is the most up to date design.
Also on the plus side for all us op1 fans at about 5:18 he says how the op1 is still their premium product and it will still be updated and supported.
I haven’t seen any price so far…
^my guess is 300-500.
yo i didn’t realize summer namm started tomorrow. hopefully some opz news
