I’m having a moment.
My OP-1 always reverts to synth preset #1 after powering on and selecting the synth button. I actually can’t remember if this is normal. Something tells me I used to see the last preset selected?

Always preset #1 for me. I have a nice Cluster string there. I should put New Day there 'cuz it’s my favorite patch right now.
I always have the number one slot for drums and synth when I power on
