They better not cost more than the $500 the last/current Electribes cost, but knowing Korg lately that shouldn’t be a problem. I’d be pleasantly surprised for $400 boxes, though, considering the lesser number of outputs and the tiny MIDI breakout things . They do have those pads, though. $500 might be about right, but hoping for $400 to $450.
Man… OP-1, a Roland SP, one of Arturia’s 'Brutes, and an Electribe Sampler would be a ridiculous combo if someone is into sampling and mangling. Old school monosynth and sampling kind of workflow with modern hardware.
it would be a really cool sample storage for my machinedrum! you will get about 100 sample slots with 65 sec. each! 13 min. work before and from time to time update your library! easy!
this machine will get you back to think about music. relaxed and concentrated. iOS app will help you sampling stuff from everywhere. in the evening, right after work, mommy’s cooking up something good, load it in and be prepared for couple of days.
Line 6 updated the Sonic Port to the Sonic Port VX. Built in condenser mics, stereo line in, two line outs, finally supplying a USB cable to use it with a PC/Mac. Seems it costs twice as much ($200 on Amazon) and they only mention the Lightning cable coming with it -_- $200 it better come with the USB cable…
Lusting for the limited Analog Waveform Decimator (sort of an analog Bit Crusher) from Pittsburgh Modular… sounds so good! http://pittsburghmodular.com/collapse
i like your wake up post and your picture…looks like you are right of the bed and ready for breakfast and then it goes…i don’t want a bread,i just want to sample.
