The OP-Z is End of Life, farewell OP-Z. :(

I thought there would be new OP-Z - like product. Something little bigger with bigger buttons that will allow better reliability, a little more RAM and storage for samples, slightly more synth engines, slightly bigger battery, but with the same workflow that people love. I mean the idea of OP-Z is brilliant and we already know how to use this device. We got used to it. OP-XY is fine but it is different. I totally get that this is business and when OP-Z sells stalls you just have to bring something new to the market so people buy newer products way faster. I just hope the OP-Z idea will survive and will appear in a slightly updated but familiar to us form.

I just bought a new Seqtrak for less than I paid for my used OP-Z. It seems they’re discontinued, it’s quite different, I’ve done lots of research. It hasn’t arrived yet. It has its pros and cons vs OP-Z. But I think I’ll like it a lot. I also have a Deluge, but again, pros and cons.
