I’m trying to use the TP-7 to record live audio into a DAW, logic Pro, over usb, but can’t seem to get audio to play over usb unless it’s already recorded.
Am I able to record live audio into Logic Pro over usb like the tx-6?

Unfortunately, no. You have to first record to the TP-7 and then into the DAW.
Being able to multitrack directly into the DAW would make too much sense. TE doesn’t want the TP-7’s features overlapping the TX-6’s, so you have a reason to buy both.

This is pretty disheartening, I wanted to replace my TX6 with it. Such a shame because the TP-7 has a lot of potential and I could see myself using it for a long time. But, really bizarre to not have that feature when it’s clearly possible.
Totally agree. There’s so much potential to use it as an audio interface—multitracking or using the mic to record into a daw… I really hope they update it in the future.

Did you try it with armed for record (but not recording)?

I did, no luck. After getting more feedback from other forums, it seems like it’s not possible to record audio over usb. Yet. Might happen in an update but I have no idea!
