Here’s a simple macOS app to make working with TP-7 multitrack recordings much easier!
What it does:
Export: Drop a TP-7 multitrack file → get individual stereo wav files for each track
Import: Drop multiple stereo wavs → combine into TP-7 compatible multitrack format
How to use:
Download the initial release from the GitHub releases page .
After moving the app to your application folder, Right-click → “Open” (bypass the unsigned app warning - it’s safe, check the source code )
Drag your files onto the window
Choose where to save → done! Finder opens to show your results
When moving files to the TP-7, you need to drop them in the recordings folder to be able to edit the multitrack on the device.
Perfect for:
Importing stems from your DAW into the TP-7
Exporting TP-7 recordings to work on in your DAW
I hope this will be helpful for you if you work with multitrack files on the TP-7

I’ve just released the app on the macOS App Store making it easier to install and keep updated, grab the app here, it’s free: TP-7 Utility on the Mac App Store
I would edit the original post and add the link, but I can’t seem to edit the post any more

So if i record a set with op-1 - xy into the tx6 and recorded into tp-7. Once on tp 7 i can export all the audio as individual tracks.?

you just drop the file from the tp7 into the app, choose a folder, and it exports out stereo tracks for each of your sources
so in your case you would get two stereo tracks, one for the op1 and one for the xy

Is there a version for Intel Macs running the correct OS (13 and above)? Tks!

I haven’t planned an Intel version, but I think you should be able to build one from the source code if you want to try your hand at it yourself.
