For all like minded TR8 owners, if you purchased the 7x7 update a while back, update your firmware & you’ll find some tasty 606 sounds;
It is tasty, to that I won’t object. I’ve enjoyed the upgrade because I didn’t get the original update it’s like three presents at once.
I can’t help my darxxxurgical mind and I have to say that the decay times on the 606 that were simply not available on the original unit could be better.
Although I’m yet to check the waveforms (which I’m sure wil give me analog results… they’re are too scratched sample sounding for my liking as they are now.
So, for live use they may suffer the penitrible impact they have the potential for.
