heyy! so, is there any smart method to transfer the whole EP-133 backup to another EP-model? possibly projects are not compatible, would you need to upload samples one by one? anyone tried this…?
I haven’t tested this myself, but the pak file you get when you use the online tool to back up your content is just a zip file. You can unzip it. Furthermore, there’s a meta.json file in there with your hardware details. Maybe, update that for the other device, the one you want to do the load on, and then use the same update tool to load that pak onto the other device.
You can do a content dump of both devices and inspect that meta.json file from both the pak files to get all the details you need.
Theoretically, if the sounds are going to the same locations, then the projects should also load the same.
I don’t think this would work on the EP-1320 because I believe it doesn’t let you delete or replace any of the stock sounds.
