The boot screen doesn’t launch in general. There’s no way to try other versions of the OS. The unit is pretty much stuck how it is.

I really don’t get why TE changes the bootloader so “often”. Thats the most delicate “backup” you always have, so I think it’s pretty dangerous to have it always included in the FW updates and even play around on it so much.

==> if the bootloader is corrupted you will have no other option but to send it to TE
