TX-6 and send/return to external effects pedal

I’m wondering. Can you send and return from the TX-6 to external pedals? Or maybe even to iPad effect plugins? I’m just curious since I’d really want to expand on the built in effects of the TX-6.

I think they mention using the aux output for this in the user guide TX–6 guide
