TX-6 Freeze on MacOS

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and maybe found a solution.

When I connect my TX-6 mixer to my Mac using USB-C, everything works fine for around 15–30 minutes. After that, the TX-6 freezes and I have to restart it before it works again. I’ve already tried different USB-C cables, but the issue stays the same.

I’m also using Audio Hijack on my Mac to route and monitor all system audio.

Haven’t seen that here, but I have some projects with the TX-6 and computer lined up this week so I’ll let you know if it pops up.

Firmware uodated? I used to get this freeze+screeching noise after longer sessions but haven’t had recently

Thanks, I had completely missed the 1.3.3 update. I hadn’t used it for a while because of the freezing issues, but I updated it and it’s been running great for over an hour now. Thanks =) I really hope it keeps working this well

Glad that got you sorted out.

I wanted to say that I worked on a project where I was connected to a mac for hours at a time over a couple of months’ time and I never thought about the TX-6. It was just there and it just worked. That was a a while back and a couple of firmwares ago, though.

Thanks, and yeah Its weird, thought it might be related to Audio Hijack and macOS somehow messing with the TX-6 USB-C audio. But I’m really happy it seems to be working properly now after 1.3.3.

I have the same problem, and firmware don’t resolve the problem. I tested 1,3.3 and 1.3.0, after couple of hour of use, the bug always appear again… don’t know from where it comes from. I tried to disconnect the charge in gnd menu of tx6, but no change. In other forums, I read it might be a problem with MacBook specifically…

Hey, what macOS are you on?

Os 15.7.4 séquoia on mcbk pro m3. Tonight I upgraded to Tahoe, hoping it resolves the problem… I’ll comeback here to say if something change

I hade problems on séquoia, I run Tahoe now with 1.3.3 and it works perfectly. hope it works out for you as well.

Seem to work perfect!. Cross fingers for the future haha!

I worked with the unit in 12-channel mode for a little over an hour yesterday on Tahoe and it was fine.
