USB and AC to DC input power cable

Hi Guys,

I purchased a used OPLab and it came with a USB to DC power cable. However, this cable is really beaten up and frayed. I am looking to find both a compatible AC to DC universal power cable, as well as the USB to DC power cable.

Would anyone know of both equivalents from Amazon?

Thanks!

https://www.adafruit.com/product/2697 Looks like that is what you are looking for. Main thing is 2.1mm center positive plug – 5V 1.5A. Can be USB or wall plug in. Anything over 1.5A will be fine, as well.

Sorry, a late but much deserved thanks owed to GCF. I got the cable and it works! Now have to figure out how to use the damn thing

@Brian_Westfield glad to hear it worked! I plan on ordering one of the 9V versions for power the Hyve Synth. Much better to use one of the thousands of USB power plugs I have than to have specific adapters for each thing.

Yup, thanks a lot mate, it worked a treat

This Kickstarter project looks very cool. It’s been funded and is in production now…

I’m waiting for it to be available on the developer’s website…

@duncmc that looks really cool. I can see though that the project is behind in shipping by over a year. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be a failed project. I would love to see if that can work with some Elektron gear!

Speaking of Ripcord, these work for me for USB 5v to barrel plug 9v conversion:

With a polarity reverser cord, I can use them with stompboxes.

I think Adafruit has the exact same things for sale to, for a couple of dollars more.
