looks really neat. ive been keen on a sort of sampler. but this seems like so much more. very hackable. alternative firmwares. and uses the STM chips that are making possible all the amazing new gear alot of us lust after.

The Lofelt Basslet that I backed on Kickstarter last year shipped the week before Christmas.

LOVING the thing so far. It’s pretty crap for four to the floor stuff as your wrist just gets bombarded with boof boof boof boof but its amazing for stuff with lots of sub bass. Stuff like early Stevie Wonders “Songs in the Key of Life” and “Innervisions” albums with all their deep low and funky Moogs is outstanding!

Looking forward to being able to make music on the laptop with headphones and really feel the bass.

Haptic feedback in music! That seems neat. I’ll keep an eye on that.

Another thing caught my eye.

Unlimited polyphony…
Portable
Unique keyboard layout and design.

It’s gonna be launched on Kickstarter come 2017.

I asked about future development and hackability; the designer responded.

“I’m planning a hacker kit for the kickstarter to encourage people to explore new ideas with it. I would be excited to see what you can do with it.”

I’m planning on buying two. One for my Eurorack(the plate is the perfect size for mounting in euro. ) As a sound source. And another for portable jamming!

Lots of unique instruments to be excited for in 2017.
