After ohpeewon.com wouldn’t come back up I was very worried Google was going to show me disparate threads of sad faces, only to find @dimi3 and @KrisM have rebuilt it from scratch! You guys are made pure awesome

I still think we should make all possible efforts to merge the old content with this forum though. So much information there!
We don’t have the database, and there’s not much on the Google Cache or Wayback Machine (which stopped tracking the site in January anyway, though most links to threads it has don’t go anywhere). Unless JP replies to one of us that has reached out to him and offers up the ohpeewon database, that information is gone.
That would really suck…

So I bought the right to the site if it expired. It is up, but it ended up the JP is selling it. I would have hoped he would talk to someone but still nothing. It is sad that such a wealth of knowledge needs to die.
Hmm, that sucks… But I hope JP would still be willing to give us the database, I don’t think that it has much monetary value, but is very valuable to us. Also, we have at least the moral right to it.
what does he really expect to get for the ohpeewon domain? if he’s truly selling the domain and won’t give us the database, I say fuck him and fuck his site.
I mean, yeah, what he did was often thankless and he never asked for even a single donation, but just letting it go and not having the sack to tell anyone? Bleh.
