Brand new TE002-013311 in 05/14 - had problems - Returned 02/15 via retailer for repair at TE.
TE sent retailer a credit note to replace it and I just got a new OP-1 yesterday = TE002-012747
Now that's what I call awesome service. Let's hope this one's a keeper.

@jasl The serial number 013311 is consistent with your original purchase date at 05/14, but 012747 was manufactured before that… do you think your retailer could have one year old stock?

@punji - yeah I realised the serial on my recently delivered OP-1 pertains to being an older unit and that perhaps it had been sitting on a shelf for a long time. Not sure how that works with some retailers but it’s possible I guess? Bax is a pretty huge retailer here in Holland and maybe it was at the bottom of the TE heap! I was going to crack a joke about it being a ‘back to the future’ special edition.


I dunno - the box was sealed as new and it had that new smell and feel, so along as it works I am happy…! It had zero charge unlike the other unit I previously received. I wondered if it may have been a refurbished unit but I find that hard to believe.
