The sticker on my I/O board says TE002-0005xx. Is that the serial #? I bought it used.

Yikes! Looks like I have one of the originals.
Other than the updated display glass, does anybody no if there has been design changes to the OP-1 since the first release?

some very early ones had a wireless SoC or something (bluetooth/wifi) but it isn’t hooked up, and they stopped including it on the board iirc.

Oh wow. That would be super handy for backing up if they actually used it.

they didn’t use it because the OP-1 metal case was not designed with wireless anything actually in mind (or they screwed up >.>) and so it just never got used, and thus phased out. is my guess.

Any idea what date that would be? I’m assuming it’s an early version.

That’s exactly what my secondhand one says on the bottom TE002AS001A when loading up the screen says R. 13585 below the logo. Got mine secondhand last week 07/2014

TE002AS001A is not the OP-1 serial number.


You need to look at the white sticker attached to the original box or at the back of the unit, inside the connector bay behind the small plastic panel.
