I have a zoom H5 which doesn’t start anymore, when turning it on, it shows the start up screen, but shortly after it turns off. Any idea what this can be?
something battery related?
or even attached via USB?
Did you find out why your H5 wouldn’t stay turned on? I’m having the same problem.

Hi, I just got the same problem. I was using rechargeable batteries and with these it is not working. Or not working correctly. The H5 is constantly turning of or the LED backlight is not working. I’ve tried normal batteries and they worked.
Probably there are rechargeable batteries out there that would work like normal batteries with the H5
When changing from normal to rechargeable, did you change the battery type in the unit’s system settings?
