Here is the actual patch and here’s the pic…

axo op fx 2of2

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the full screen on a single pic, or even two (scratching head)

:-/

Thanks @flybry for sharing the patch! I’m going to try it ASAP and report back. =)

Axoloti being used as a talkbox carrier. My OP-1 treated is being like a step-child here, on duty as midi controller.

that’s awesome

I need a talkbox  I did simulate one on my latest album by using the iphone speaker playing into my mouth, but it didn’t work as well as a real talkbox heh

Great video, very cool use of the Axoloti! I plan to use mine as a voice effect processor but didn’t take time to dive into it yet. You just motivated me to go back to it again

I saw a video of someone doing exactly this ^ on youtube the other day. Was it you? It was impressive. I learned a new trick

Thanks @artsun - Ya man, axoloti is powerful and can make a great vox processor.

nah it wasn’t me, but I used it in this track at around 1:45

man I just stumbled across this thread, looks awesome!

So, to clarify from a previous comment: the Ax can definitely function as a midi host straight out of OP1, then send that midi thru to something else?

I’ve been interested in patchblocks for a while, the Ax looks like a better version…

Yup. I put the exact patch I use up. The timing is kinda quirky but it seems like the OP send its out that way. I believe the midi clock time from the op-1 is meant to match the tape so it goes up/down my micro amounts over time.

Linnstrument playing the OP-1 via the axoliti. Linn using midi din and Axoloti sending it to the OP-1. The slide is awesome for the OP patches. I’m still coming to grips with the fingering/chords etc but I may do a viddy soon.

nice!

I ended up getting a nord modular G1 rack, been having fun wiring up some weird synth setups. A friend of mine says it’s my gateway into hardware modular, but I like the flexibility of not having to spend a million dollars if I want a patch with many oscillators/lots of polyphony

So, I don’t really need an axoloti, though I still kinda want one (of course!).

nice!

Nord modular g1 is awesome man. You probably don’t need Axoloti. But yeah, it’s my introduction to patching as well. I will be making a few MPE patches asap to play on linnstrument.

@flybry …your beat is really nice and tight and btw. i like your precise layering a lot!

am into Axolotl aswell for some time. like its flexibility.
