@yoof

sounds very finished. like it indeed!

which 3 effects, etc?

Thanks @kln. Oh yes, good point! I used Spring, Delay and Nitro. I really missed CWO a lot :slight_smile: I must say, I’m not totally sure what Fairuz song it was from, which is poor form given my new found appreciation for her music!

I really love your Grooverider/Photek vibe. I really never got into how D&B developed after that era, with the exception of Dieselboy sometimes. Do you have any suggestions on who to listen to these days?
BTW, I wish so badly i could have resampled the output of my ipad just now. It has this glitch with the op1 page that if you were listening to members’ soundcloud, shut your ipad, and come back later, the track will play from the beginning again without you being able to stop it. What happened was that your track started playing while i was checking out Dieselboy’s THE DUNGEONMASTERS GUIDE. It fit perfectly during the intro!

Hey @Blipsford_Baubie. Being mentioned in the same sentence as Photek makes me very happy indeed :slight_smile: I’ve only recently started listening to Drum and Bass (perhaps within the last year or so) and so would welcome listening recommendations myself :slight_smile: When it was big in the nineties, I was really into my techno and acid, and didn’t care too much for DnB. But over the last year of op-1 battles, I’ve realised how fun it is as a genre and lets you get super technical on the drums. But you’re right, some of the styles are nicer than others. I think I like all the early stuff. Metalheadz do a monthly podcast on Rinse FM which I quite look forward to.

Someone has to press this on vinyl! @yoof

@mixrasta I love it!
