Re the voting thread… it’s dead easy. Just create a thread called “Battle 31 Voting” and there’ll be a button which allows you to create a poll with a question and list of answers. Give it a go, if you get stuck I’ll jump in to help. Don’t forget to add overseas_territory’s track like I did!

My delayed beat! I hope it´s still possible. I did a first beat one week ago, but didn´t liked the result, so I deleted everything and started again.
I hope it´s still possible. I did a first beat one week ago, but didn´t liked the result, so I deleted everything and started again. I really liked this battle, and the beats that I´ve already heard are AMAZING! Thanks a lot for the amazing entries.
The core of my beat are sampled keys, chromatically re-played (finally I fell in love with the OP-1 samplers) - I got two versions of the same track, both with Phone and a little CWO (with the feedback feeding the tracks with some noise), resampled with Delay and resampled again with Nitro (for the filtering) and played with a small time difference in both tracks, creating a primitive delay (one of them also received a “manual” tape fluttering effect).
I sampled another french sci-fi animation and resampled it with a field recording chromatically played, with Phone, for a crunchy texture and Delay in the resampling.
The drum loop is a classic hip hop/jungle break, with a little Phone.
Finally, there´s also a little bit of Phone in the Master, inserting some noise.
