Battle 42 - The Answer

I’m so happy, first tracks you made are great buddies !

Next Monday, the until? @quarantequatre

@mixrasta 14th september, it’s ok for you ?

Totally!

My track had to much gain, it saturated. Here is a new version with hopefully a better mix (but less volume):

92 - Slump - 176 BPM
All synths are Slump, drumkit is Neon.

I’m very late. I’ll see if I have time to do anything now its been extended since it is SUCH a good set of rules.

I got 90, so its slump and 174bpm for me. I’m usually <130!! And I’ve only fiddled with slump for a few minutes up to now.

Sorry, too much came up, not going to be able to submit anything. :frowning:

I had number 2. So used string and 86 bpm. Also used electric guitar for solo’s. I hope you like it. My first track on this forum.

Late to the game but excited about jumping in here. I have a couple of long flights this week so I’ll aim to get a track done by the extended deadline. I got 66, so dsynth and a relaxed 150bpm for me.

I’m on it, but probably won’t make it to the extended deadline. I’m on a holiday trip with the family, and the kids “steal” most of my time… and energy

Already cut out some cool samples from the movie, and did some sounds with Phase.

been moving house over the past many weeks. did manage to squeak in a track for the battle amongst the time spent packing and unpacking boxes, etc.

ended up using the Cluster engine, with the random number of 100 i drew.

Phew… managed to get one into the battle too:

I had cluster at 158 bpm and made a Drum n Bass track with lots of Amen action.

I struggle to get my track done… For some reason I spent my last weekend playing music and drinking with a new friend, and didn’t do my homework, my bad…
@quarantequatre Would it be abusing to ask for one more week ?
I want to get this done even if I sooooo feel like a lazy student

Very good enties so far! I already have a favourite

Here is my contribution.
Digital synth. 126bpm.
Sampled instrument is NS1 Nanosynth.
Samples from the HHGTTG is the presentation for The Total Perspective Vortex. If I remember correctly it is from the audiobook.

Haha, I appreciate that

I can add one more week, if administrators don’t scold me :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe I’m gonna try to make something too, but I haven’t started anything atm

I guess I have an unplanned business flight to thank for finding the time to knock out this one. Phase is much more versatile then I originally gave it credit for in the lead and bass department. Tombola is pretty solid for creating atmospheres as well. I should have spent a bit more time diving for a sample that was symphonic instead of opting for the quote, but sticking with the theme, I tried to hover around a specific minute of the movie relating to my roll.

Sorry for being so late, but here I go with blinking knobs. Slump 175bpm Dominion 1 in the middle part, lots of Tombola and samples of the german version! Enjoy the journey ; )
