Cases for OP-1

Awesome! the best one I’ve seen by far. I wish I didn’t have spend $75 on the Unit Portables one :frowning:

Hmm, yeah that's a great idea. Perhaps we can petition someone at Decksaver to make and sell an OP-1 cover.. They seem to make covers for a *lot* of different machines.

We should really do this or just write them about the idea, I mean there are about 15 000 and more to cover!

I sent a request using the form on their website, I’ll let you know when they give me an answer.

hey i wrote to decksaver a few days ago and they just wrote me back!

Hi Jay,

Thank you for your email and interest in Decksaver.

We have put this unit on the list to produce and contacted TE about getting hold of a unit.

Kind regards,

Decksaver Team

I received the same note @instantjuggler
A shame no one there has an OP-1, tss !

I would buy one of the decksaver ones if they make it! I love the one I have for my electribe. It allows you to store it in places that you would normally be worried about thrashing the knobs.

I’m surprised TE don’t do their own hard cover. Elektron do their own.

Maybe a request from Decksaver might prompt them to create one.

It’s an excuse to charge £35 for a piece of plastic - that equals mucho profito!

Duct tape, cardboard and trimmed down the bottom portion of the box/case it shipped in. Added a bendy thing and clasp to keep it shut

Hmm, sorry, pic didn’t post. Lemme go read forum rules and Infos and stuff

That’s great news. I hope they can do it!

I don’t know if helsinkisounds is in these forums. But he’s making some awesome cases, I would definetely buy one from him: https://www.instagram.com/p/BIDPxyIBDrt/?taken-by=helsinkisounds

On the inside it looks exactly like the unit portables case. On the outside it’s got multicam camo and a big pocket. Also cheaper than unit portables case - https://www.memeantenna.com/store/mmgb003:-soft-carrying-case-for-op-1-(camo1)/dp/29807

That looks great! Any chance this is available in the EU?

want if I knew anything about 3d Printing I’d print me one like that… Without the holes though.

Are those the kind of holes that “would kill an OP1” (as I read in the forums)?

This just popped up from CDM - meeblip guys.

might be perfect for a few people here, with PO’s Volcas, OP-1 combo.

  • Dimension: 11.8" L x 5.8" W x 0.6

That looks too small (only 0.6" deep) but this might do: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014EBC3BE/

First of all. Flattered that my case is mentioned here. Just found this forum and it was a surprise :)

I guess that the holes can be covered, I liked them uncovered because it keeps the case more slim, which works perfectly for me. Is it somewhere in the operator-1 forums mentioned that holes would kill an op1? Wouldn't want to kill my op1 because of a stupid case design :)

New to the forum  Glad you like it

For me it works to build my own cases, I´ve built them with layers of birch ply. I can post some pictures later, feel free to show your local carpenter and ask them to build one for you
