Are there chances we get all of this coming on the field..? Bless you all working on this, i’ve been dreaming about it, it’s finally happening !! ![]()
Wowwyyy
look at these fine things

S-tier graphics ![]()
we need em all, the functions underneath are pretty rad, iam in love with the details really
Hundekraft just dropped a new version some hours ago, it includes the Popcorp mods, Maiko mods (undo & redo, scale etc) and his own stuff. Installed it this morning and it’s quite amazing to have all this in one firmware ![]()
Wondering how this will affect used market prices for the OG-1 once this spreads. After 15 years, finally the hardware gets the software it deserved all along
- I would wish the same for the OP-Z actually.
This is my First Test for „Shore" Graphic, for the tape Echo. The Name is just a Suggestion.

The idea is, that every Wave resembles an Echo and is attached to its behavior (at least should be as far as the svg does work) Increased time and Feedback should result in more and longlasting Waves. Wow and Flutter is resembled in more pits and Tales behavior of the Waves. With higher Age, the sun is Setting, Stars occure, and the leaves of the Palms Hang down as there is less light.
Example of Wave behavior:

I scetched it out by Hand and then worked further with AI to create the svg. I’m not experienced in Programming and can’t test it on the op1, unfortunatelly.
Scetched out on a Barf bag.
The .SVG is ready and around 70kb, I don’t know if that’s too much? Can’t Upload it here, though.
maybe if your interested I can send the files somewhere.
this is absolutely astonishing, for real the amount of new things and the presentation of all of that. shit is so real
I also wish the same for the OP-Z. Sampler and synth extensions would be fab and I assume the OP-1 techniques will be a good starting point. Just a matter of time…
actually in the case of the OP-Z it should read “finally get the hardware that the software deserved all along”, haha… maybe AI will also fix materials soon… I just want the Z to return to mixer mode automatically (instead of pressing a button 3 times, every time), personally that’s the only important fix I can think of right now.
This is the second alternativ graphic SUMMIT for the OP1R tape-delay.

The gondola represents the echo in a kind of amplitute swing: the initial sound starts its swing, repeats drive it back and forth, and movement settles as the echoes fade.
-
TIME determines spacing between repeats and swing events.
-
FEEDBACK determines how often and how long the gondola is swinging.
-
WOW / FLUTTER adds cable wobble, and vertical bouncing.
-
AGE shows mechanical wear on the gondolas axis.
-
All dials cranked out to Max let the passengers fall out of the gondola.
The further you dial, the stronger the motion The passengers react to the shaking and grip the cabin walls at intensity.
The size is appr. 27kb
This is what AI did to the file:
The handoff includes SVG assets, a host-tested portable C motion model, a GIF preview and English integration documentation. It supports wet-signal activity and optional explicit echo events. Integration requires connecting the model to the existing effect’s parameters, audio activity and native drawing functions. The SDK adapter and OP‑1 hardware testing couldn’t be done, yet.
I really like how the end results look!
Is this by any chance inspired by Celeste?
Thanks:) Ah I see. The ideas I had was just the first that came to my mind, thinking of a resemblence of Echo which let to Mountains and valleys. Now that I Look up for celeste, I See there’s quite a similarity. Hm. Might this similarity be a Not so good thing?
someone need to find a way to somehow optimize the OP1, by now as it seems that more graphic-intense stuff will actually break the soundcore, maybe there’s a way to find old code or things wayyy toooo „humanized" these days that will result in a massive performance boost, had the CWO doing only noisy things and slowed down fps but actually crackling from overload..
the quad lfo does break stuff within hundekrafts build but all in all is pretty massive in features (combining all the great work) but this optimized would be bonkers ![]()
No I don’t see it as bad in any way at all. There’s just a gondola scene in the game which came to my mind from the swinging gondola in the graphic. The main character gets a panic attack, but it all ends well ![]()
good thing ![]()
also read somewhere about some sdk engine or maybe iam mixing shit up but it would be a milestone to somehow have Norns patches running on the OP1 ![]()
TE could also answer this with a lightweight plastic OP1 revival with KO-materials and it’s just a shell with a processor, I mean by today you can throw a stick with usbc at people and they start controlling their smart homes with that…the newp1 could hold some common microcontrollers within its body, easy to access, like having pi pico next to a teensy or they re-use the module approach from the Z to have different microcontrollers ![]()

Happy that you like it:) so far I don’t know how good the .svg’s turned out. I’m not experienced in coding unfortunately and can’t test them
Hey guys! So this is going to be my debut in the OP-1 firmware modding scene…
OPUS 1: two new synth engines (field’s dimension + guitar amp with a tuner), bitcrush, chorus and plate reverb, scales and chords, preset rename, themes, your own start-up picture, its own menu and a bunch more. every build ran in an emulator with the OP-1’s own firmware before it went anywhere near my device.
it’s out today! all the details (pictures, install, going back) are in its own thread to keep things clean: Link Here!
the patcher’s on the site and runs in your browser, nothing to install, and leaving is also very easy.
big thanks to everyone here for keeping the og alive. bug reports are very welcome!
the Hundekraft 2.5 build is much smoother now having the new graphics, oh boy I love these animations.
taffy so sweet, pew so cozy ![]()
