I wonder how it compares to the EP-133 K.O.II function wise? I see the bigger memory which is definitely a nice plus.

The opposite to me - 96 mb for medieval samples and 32 for user mem(half of ko2) <128mb but only 32 for user samples which is half of too little as it is >
Difference between this is and 133 standard is this has an arp and a weird effect but aside from that I’d be curious to know if there was any being else significant
All I know is we have no excuse not to get our FW updates now

Yeah I saw somebody mentioned they wanted it to be ‘hard-wired’ as you cannot change the ROM sounds and only have 32 MB of sample memory, they really want it to really be focused as a medieval groovebox. Not as flexible as the K.O.II I think, but still a fun looking thing, if very, very niche.
Something I might pick up for fun… just not as a K.O.II successor.

It’s definitely interesting and they really went out there for this thing. I think an EP-133 is enough for me, I don’t see enough new with this thing to warrant getting it alongside an EP-133. I wish instead that they had released a device that more compliments the EP-133.

This is either the most brilliant or the most ill-advised thing TE has done in a while.
Either way, it’s a fun weird (rather than creepy weird). I already have an EP-133 so I’m not buying it, but it’s cool that they’re willing to be crazy.
I hope it sells like hotcakes enough to justify a pattern chaining firmware update across both KO2’s.

Feels like they Just dont Care anymore. O Hope ep133 is not abandoned
just really dont understand this “woe is me” attitude surrounding the launch from ep133 owners. i own both, felt Zero sense of being abandoned prior to purchasing the ep1320. i bought the ep1320 because it looked goofy, has multisamples and could act both as a secondary ep133 and a standalone entity. what is different for you?
