  • fix broken sampler looping when loop out set to end of sample

  • press note duration again to toggle between full step and overlap-only

  • shift + left/right moves one semitone instead of full octave for drums

I cannot update. Every time I tried I have following message : valid file not found. I tried to reload the file, restart op xy, restart computer. No issues with previous updates.
Edit: I tried to update on Macbook - no issues.

Use Chrome not Safari. Works perfectly.

I did on my Windows PC and I could not update, that’s why I tried on Macbook and updated with no issues.

The update worked for me in the same manner as previous updates. I run Linux. Downloading the fw image, connected the OP-XY to my computer as per the update instructions, copying the fw file over to the OP-XY, and ejecting, and the update just went through its procedure. When I power cycled the OP-XY, it came up with 1.0.45.

If you create a sequence of pattern (song) you can choose play one time the sequence or loop it

My problem is , I have 1.0.45 but I can’t find anything news.
No option to stop after end song, no copy /paste scenes, no semitone shift in drum mode and the Manual is only to 1.0.40. Can anybody explain there all new fixes are ?

Same for me, can’t figure out how to perform those functions.

Edit: Song Stop is access by turning encoder 1 in Song mode, changes from Loop to Stop (blank). Thanks @JaQ

It took TE some time to get the 1.0.40 manual up on the site and then a while longer to get the PDF download version up. So I would give it at least a week or two before we see the new manual.

I think it means that on the song page you can press and hold down the left arrow (M2), right arrow (M3), minus and plus button keys and the cursor will move across the scenes in the song. Previously IIRC you had to re-press those keys once for each cursor movement one scene to the left or right. (I hope my description makes sense.)

To copy and paste scene, shift + hold scene number and press copy, shift + hold another scene number and paste.

Thanks. I guess I was initially expecting it was going to copy and paste all the clips used for each scene, but in hindsight that’s probably not really feasible.

I mean maybe it does. I’m new to the OP XY, just bought it few days ago. Maybe there is another way we don’t know about.

Copy all scenes from one song to another, perhaps is new. I have not seen that before. Shift+song number+copy then shift+song number+paste

Now if only we could copy from one project to another :slight_smile:

to answer your questions:

  • when in song mode (shift+arrange) you will know see a repeat symbol in the top left. you can turn the dark grey knob left to turn it off (end song) or right to repeat (keep same behaviour as before)
  • when in the arrange (scene mode), if you hold shift, you will now see copy (M2) and paste (M3) as options to copy and paste the whole scene
  • when in instrument mode and using a drum track, if you press shift and plus or minus, this will now move the drums a semitone rather than an octave that it previously used to. this means that the sample selected will move to the sample a semitone up or down on the keyboard.

Yes it works for me, but you have to be on the instrument screen for a drum track.
