@punji Yeah, that may be the reason, as I tried to order with my credit card, but as it wasnt working, had to order with PayPal etc
If they truly have only filled 400 orders… they severely underestimated this product and completely over-promised on the “in stock” message. Jesus, I mean…400? I can understand underestimating by two times… but by 10 times? And how many are they ordering from China at a time? 100? At this point they should be ramping things up…,it’s been a month. How can they not have thousands available at this point.
If TE was really serious about being transparent on this, they would post it somewhere, like Instagram, how many units they were shipping on that week… but I’m afraid they won’t do it because the numbers would be dismaying.
cant believe you lot still dont have them! jeeze… well due to this i now guard mine under lock and key… https://instagram.com/p/zclD5KInrA/?modal=true
As I theorized before, one single container (shipped by sea) full of POs could probably take care of half those orders. The current situation can’t be the typical modus operandi. It is like they are getting small batches from China by air, or none at all…
^^^ This, sadly, looks like one of those joke graphs that make rounds on the interwebs…
Shipping from China to sweden takes 12 weeks by sea. Mail approx 1 week.
^ I didn’t know it took so long by sea… it seems the trip alone is 48 days in average.
@punji maybe there faster ships =)
I recently ordered a bunch of electronics by container to sweden and the estimates delivery time was 12 weeks. But I suspect they produced the units when I placed the order. So maybe more like 10 weeks.

Haha
Updated graph. How will TE make good on their "within 6 to 8 weeks" claim if this is all they have done in 4 weeks?First day orders are up to around the 29500 mark on the left bar.
If this is even partially accurate, it is really sad. Why the F would they have even bothered with an in stock message on day 1? Did they really think that this would be a failure?
now, again, available at colette!
Oh ok… So, now, it’s possible to have at least 4 PO-12 from Colette and to get them really soon as I live in France, while TE can’t even ship one to a lot of us?
I didnt know it was a TE x Colette collaboration…
now, again, available at colette!I sent some POs to North Korea. Because the US is too hard to ship to, but North Korea is fine.

Shows how TE are prioritising outlets over individual web purchasers.
Colette likely had a pre-existing stock agreement and the POs were shipped to them direct from the manufacturer, not TE.
Also, pretty crazy that they had over 79,000 orders and only 800 have been at least taken care of. All numbers are estimations of course. Thanks for your leg work on that @cybearg.
They definitely underestimated how much they would sell…and that’s quite an understatement! I think it’s pretty fascinating. Is there any piece of gear that moves almost 80,000 units in a week, let alone at all? I’d love to see some numbers on that.
Cool, just ordered a PO-12 (while I wait for my PO-14 from TE)
@cybearg. I’m in the US. Colette are shipping mine, DHL 19EUR (ouch)
Ordered the PO-16 to complete my collection. I’m guessing that TE will get another batch of order cancellations.
