This still isn’t a big amount relative to other devices, but it’s 4x the RAM of the original OP-1, which is a meaningful improvement.

OG’s sampler/tape format is 16bit/44.1khz/mono, and Field is 32bit/48khz?/stereo. Even if memory and storage increased 4x, the feel might still be the same…

I wonder why they didn’t go with more ram. Hope that’s true about the internal storage but I do feel like dropping files easily via usb is imminent.

If the OP-Z can’t sequence the op1f synths/drums and record it on tape perfectly on beat match mode I will probably return the op1f. I’m surprised they didn’t add a new enhanced sequencer to the op1f for complex programming with control over velocity, retrig etc.

Has anyone here received the new op-1 field bag and tried to fit in the op-1 with the decksaver on?

Hey!
I’m the guy that did the unboxing video with the bag a few posts earlier.
The bag is tight but gets a bit wider with use. I tried to fit in the OP1f with the OG1 Decksaver,
but that is a really really tight fit. I gave up halfway through. It may be possible but takes a lot of force the first times… maybe that also gets better but i wont try

This will not fit. The field bag is to tight for that.

This case can be used with the op-1 field, correct? And does anybody know if the decksaver fits in this one?

Definitely won’t fit due to the power switch. Definitely not with DS.

I actually owned it and it was very tight even without the switch of the Field.

on the shop, it says it’s not compatible with op-1 field …
