Why do you need to flip it around in the leather case for it to be used as a stand?
Any idea of discussion for a future firmware that would add the ability for last used tape settings to save with discs/reels within tape machines (and across tape machines)? I think Iām using the right terminology but I mean, loading a new project and having its last used volume and pan of each track.

because it folds over the front, side with keys, of the op-1. So if you fold it under without fliping it around to use it as a stand it tilts away from you.

Well Thatās frustrating
just wanted to say, after some time using the wrap it lays pretty flat when folded under. not completely flat, but certainly nothing like that picture on the website. thereās like a 1 degree tilt

Ah, I see. Looks like itās half folded on the website. Regardless, it looks nice but I didnāt love the exposed sides and buttons aspect. I assume thereāll be some full case option down the line like for the og.
Yeah, I wouldnāt be happy at all personally. Up to you but Iād consider returning it. Also because itās not $80 or $100 but $250.
Just because it does not do what that picture shows it doing. I reckon you could have something made in leather, nicer, for similar $$

I liked the decksaver for the op-1 because it fit fine in the original case offering proper protection and also functioned as a stand. New power switch doesnāt really allow for the stand usage.
the decksaver + field case is a great option for travel or just throwing it in a backpack for the day. it feels very secure! i wouldnāt feel comfortable throwing the field + leather wrap in a bag, the knobs sticking up would worry me.
I hope theyāll add that option to the envelope page where you can already set up portamento, volume etc. Would be awesome!

The midi clock stuff is still super buggy and unreliable even with the op1f as master. Hopefully they fix it soon. Why is midi clock so hard for TE to get right?

Hereās a question: How do you get the field to sample in mono? Thatās all well and good and fancy that it samples in stereo but what if I donāt always want to sample in stereo? Like for instance, some of my guitar pedals are not stereo and Iād like to sample some guitar running through them but Iām only getting one side headphones when monitoring in tape mode on op-1f. I appreciate the whole stereo throughout concept but shouldnāt there be an option?

I think in drum mode you can switch between stereo and a/b sampling. So that would be a way. I donāt remember if this is the case for melodic sampling.

We really feel the inflation now, I guess.
Currently the simplest method if you want to record to tape or use the synth sampler (vs drum sampler) would be to have a simple cable made up that is a 6.5mm mono jack (or whatever input you use) to 3.5mm stereo plug, so the mono signal is duplicated in both channels. There isnāt an option to set the input to dual-mono vs stereo currently.
2 stuck keys here alsoā¦ I have 1 key stuck regularly and another 1 less often (left one) and it only seems to happen when I really push in or hit those 2 keys.
I was hoping the keys would get less stuck after some intensive usage, but that doesnāt seem to be the case unfortunately.
Have you guys emailed TE? I have send them an email with the picture and a video, though I am not really looking forward in returning the OP-1 field if that is needed and be without it for another period of time after waiting for it quite a while in the first placeā¦
I asked them if replacing/swapping these keys with other keys of the keyboard could help and/or if this would break warrantyā¦ If not thatās the first thing I will try.
